Cells Unlimited backed singer John Tan on his privately funded EP release on the Life Label. Cells Unlimited was disguised as The Cells.

    This EP was privately funded by John Tan who was independently wealthy. He recorded two EPs released on Life Label of Hongkong where he had contacts. Cells Unlimted was contracted to provide the music. The eight numbers were popular English numbers of that time sung in Mandarin by John.
